I am Emily, a movement practitioner and yoga teacher with a background in dance and dance science, dedicated to creating a deeper connection between body and mind through safe, sustainable movement.
I began dancing at the age of 12 and started training more intensively at 16, practicing daily in ballet, jazz, and contemporary. This led me to pursue professional training at the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich (2019–2020).
During that time I had continuous small recurring injuries and became interested in dance and exercise science as well as supplemental training to support the body during a professional dance training. To further my knowledge, I decided to continue my studies in London to study Dance Science at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. In 2024, I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in BSc Dance Science.
Throughout the degree, I developed a strong interest in specifically supplemental training, injury prevention through movement science as well as the effects of mindfulness practices like meditation on the mental state of professional athletes. I conducted a research study exploring meditation practices and mental health and through that started to get interested in yoga and its effect on body and mind. I discovered that yoga was a great tool to support strength training, mobility, and long-term physical and mental wellbeing at the same time.
In March 2026, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training with Asia Pacific Yoga (Yoga Alliance certified). My classes focus on mindful movement, alignment, and flow, helping you build strength and mobility in a way that feels natural, supportive, and sustainable.
My approach is not limited to dancers or performers. It is designed for everyone and anyone who wants to move more freely, understand their body better, and create a lasting sense of ease and connection in their movement.
I believe movement is an exploration between the connection of body and mind.
My approach combines flow, awareness, and alignment to support safe and effective movement. With a background in dance science, I focus on building strength, mobility, and flexibility in a way that is sustainable and respects how the body is designed to move.
The emphasis is on understanding your body, connecting with it and improving alignment and control over time.
Classes are open to everyone, especially beginners — no prior experience needed.
